IT'S SHOWTIME RICHMOND is now published by OPUS (www.opusrichmond.com). The magazine serves as a guide to theaters, dance troupes, and other performing arts organizations in metropolitan Richmond, Virginia. In addition to profiling area performing arts, the magazine lists the season's performances and provides schedules and ticket information. Greater Richmond has an extraordinary performing arts scene for a city of under a million population. Richmond is home to more than 50 active, producing theater companies, ballets, opera, and a variety of dance troupes.
OPUS collaborates with STYLE WEEKLY to distribute the magazine guide to performing arts throughout the Greater Richmond area. OPUS's insert, IT'S SHOWTIME RICHMOND, has a circulation to 45,000 copies. Forty thousand copies are inserted in STYLE WEEKLY, reaching an audited 109,000 readers. OPUS distributes an additional 5,000 copies to specific locations, particularly the theaters and the Metropolitan Convention and Visitors Bureau.
