White Model

This white model, created by scenic artist, Phil Hayes shows students how the stage will be configured, what scenic elements are on stage for each scene, and how those scenic elements move on and off the stage.

Invaluable Interns!

Our interns, Abby & Elizabeth, clearing backstage to prepare for scenery load in.

Rehearsals!

Rehesearsal are underway and students worked this week on “blocking”. In theatre, blocking is the precise staging of actors in order to facilitate the performance. Directors block the show together with the actors during the rehearsal process. The stage manager writes down when the actors move stage left or stage right, upstage or downstage, enter or exit, sit, stand, and all the thousands of other moves actors can make.
