SPARCLERS Ages 4-8
Confidence, character, creativity, performance! The SPARCLERS camps follow that motto! Ages 4-5 are welcomed into our 2-week long SPARCLERS, Jr. camp, while the 6-8 year-olds play together for 3 weeks.
SPARCLERS, JR.
Pre-K and K, ages 4 and 5 years
These two week, half day camps are for the littlest and brightest stars! Campers will be introduced to the very beginning aspects of performing arts with sing along music, creative dance, character-based movement, and arts and crafts!

Animal Parade!
The theme of this camp will focus around creating a character based on a favorite animal!
Session 2: July 9– July 20, 9:00am-12:00pm, Congregation Or Ami
Superheroes Unite!
It’s a bird— it’s a plane— no, it’s a SPARC Superhero! Campers will create their very own superhero character. The possibilities are endless!

SPARCLERS
1st-3rd Grades, ages 6, 7, and 8
Come join the fun in this three week introduction to the stage! Campers will work on scripted show material with age appropriate songs and choreography, as well as create some of their own set and costume pieces. Come join us for one session and performance, or jump on board for all four performances!

Double Trouble in Walla Walla
There's double the word play and double the fun in this wacky word warp that has Lulu's classmates, principal, teacher, and school nurse repeating every word word they they say say!

The Boy Who Wanted the Willies
Hans has never in his life been frightened! All he wants is to experience a bad case of the willies! With the help of some spooky characters he’ll get his chance. There are some spooky-fun times ahead for Hans and his friends!

The Fourth Little Pig
With the help of their big sister the infamous 3 little pigs learn to face the big bad world and enjoy life!

A celebration of Shel Silverstein’s Poems
A polar bear in your Frigidaire? A hot dog with everything on it? Join us this session for creative exploration of our favorite Silverstein poems!
Tuition per session: $300.00
It’s show time at BRAVO! SPARC’s full-day camp for performing arts offers a fabulous daily rotation of arts training: acting, singing, dance, and visual art with some of Richmond’s leading professional artists. There are several performance opportunities for each young actor, and fun daily activities that form friendships for life! Students will perform in a final showcase at the end of camp. In addition to the show, students will explore theatre games, vocal training, and professional workshops. This year’s camp will feature guest artists in specialized performing arts disciplines such as improvisational theatre, stage combat, hip hop dance, and more!

Auditioning is not easy. The best way to be prepared is to work with experienced professionals to master advanced acting techniques necessary for gaining acceptance into performing arts schools and/or being cast at local professional theatres. At the end of the workshop on August 24, each student will have the chance to showcase their audition pieces and be seen by directors and educators from various local performing arts organizations.

End the summer with a bang! Join Cadence Theatre Company and SPARC for this 2-week performance camp that you will never forget! Students will work on all aspects of performance both onstage and behind-the-scenes. Classes include acting, singing, arts and crafts, dance, scenery and costume-making. Ages 4-10 will work together to stage the musical version of Winnie the Pooh Kids-- Ages 11-13 will stage the popular musical Thoroughly Modern Millie Jr. Students will also enjoy theatrical games, exercises, and "outside of the box" camp activities. Performances will run in repertory on Friday, August 24.

Due to popular demand, we have opened a second section of the Winnie the Pooh camp at a different location. The same camps will take place simultaneously at Mary Munford Elementary School and at the SPARC center. Enrollment is almost at capacity for both sections.
