TAYLOR BERNARD (Adjunct Faculty) graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BFA in Theatre Education from Virginia
Commonwealth University, and has spent a great deal of time working with children as a nanny, tutor, counselor, and teacher. During her time at VCU, Taylor has worked for a number of local organizations including the VCU-Carver partnership, VCU Summer Arts Intensive, Barksdale Theatre and Theatre IV, and Richmond City Schools. Before moving to Richmond, Taylor developed Audition Workshops and Exploratory Dramatics programs for elementary and middle school students and also served on the Board for the Livestock Players Youth Theatre in Greensboro, North Carolina. Taylor is currently on the
faculty at Midlothian Middle School.

LINDA BERINGER (Adjunct Faculty) comes to Richmond after living and working in Surrey, England for twenty years. She received her MA in Theatre Education through NYU’s Steinhardt School of Education. She is also certified to teach in British state schools, having qualified at the University of Reading in Reading, England. Linda is experienced in working with students from elementary through high school level. Recently, she made her Richmond debut as Nat in Rabbit Hole at the Firehouse Theatre.

CHRISTINA BILLEW (Adjunct Faculty) is a SPARC alum excited to be back as a teacher. She has a BFA in Theater from Point Park University where she earned the Kennedy Center Award for Best Assistant Direction on My One and Only. Chicago credits include: Second City (Stage Manager), Single File Festival 2005 (Associate Producer), Chicago Sketchfest 2006 (PR Assistant) and “Flo Artistic” Sketch Group (Company Member). Teaching credits include: SPARC (SPARClers Camp Director,
Rising, Mini, and Stages), Cat’s CAP (Improv/Sketch, Physical Comedy & Musical Theatre), and Theatre IV (Outreach). Christina is currently Tour Assistant to the Education Director at Theatre IV as well as the Coordinator for Theatre IV’s Curtain Up/Lights Out Overnight Camp.

SLADE BILLEW (Adjunct Faculty) is excited to return to SPARC after earning his MFA in Theatre Pedagogy at VCU. He heads the Performing Arts Department at Cat's CAP, and is the 7th & 8th grade theatre teacher at Seven Hills School. He has previously taught at St. Gertrude High School, and Albert Hill Middle. For SPARC, Slade has taught Mini-SPARC, Rising Stars, and STAGES programs. As adjunct faculty at VCU he taught acting, speech, and directing. Slade has also presented and taught at national conferences including the Southeastern Theatre Conference and Mid America Theatre Conference. Professionally Slade has lighting designed all of the 2009 - 2010 season for the Barksdale Theatre at Hanover Tavern, and was Fight Choreographer for One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, and True West at Henley Street Theatre.

DEBRA CLINTON (Programs Director/Resident Faculty) is one of the founders of several SPARC programs including SummerStarz, SPARC On Tour, SPARCLERS, and the BRAVO! Middle School Camp. She holds a BFA from Emerson College, and an MFA from Virginia Commonwealth University, and has taught for VCU and City University of New York. As an actor, Debra has been seen locally at Swift Creek Mill, TheatreVirginia, and Barksdale, in addition to regional credits along the east coast. Debra has directed many productions for SPARC, most recently Once On This Island, Jr., You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown, Really Rosie, and the upcoming Aladdin, Jr. Deb is currently artistic director of the Weinstein JCC's Jewish Family Theatre.

HEATHER FALKS (Adjunct Faculty) has been teaching children of all ages for many years. Recently, she combined her training in theatre with her passion for teaching. Heather is a graduate of Texas State University. She holds a BFA in theatre with an emphasis in directing. Outof the classroom Heather can be found performing on local stages.

JENNY FRALIN (Adjunct Faculty) is happy to be returning to the SPARC staff after a 15 year absence! During that time, she has worked and performed with several area theatres, including Swift Creek Mill where she recently re-staged the choreography for Joseph.... She danced with the Tidewater Ballet Co., studied with Joffrey Ballet, and had the opportunity to work with both Joe Layton and Terrence Mann in The Lost Colony. Jenny graduated from East Carolina University with a B.S. in Business Administration and a minor in dance.

ALEX GINSBERG (Adjunct Faculty) holds a BFA from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, and an MA in Counseling Psychology, focus in Drama Therapy from California Institute of Integral Studies. Alex has been on the SPARC staff working in the STAGES program and BRAVO! camp in an adjunct capacity for the past year.

ROBIN HARRIS-JONES (Adjunct Faculty) is an honors graduate of Shenandoah Conservatory with a BFA in Music Theatre. She was recently seen in Theatre IV’s productions of Annie and Sideways Stories From Wayside School. Robin has appeared in numerous local productions including Sing Down the Moon, Seussical, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Anything Goes, and the world premiere of Austin’s Bridge. She is a professional member of and soloist for St. Paul’s Episcopal Church Choir, and also teaches for SPARC’s STAGES program.

JENNY HUNDLEY (Adjunct Faculty) has been teaching drama at Collegiate since 1991. She has a BFA in acting and an MFA in Theatre Pedagogy from VCU. Jenny has worked in the Richmond theatre community for over 30 years as an actress, director and teacher. Her favorite projects are original plays written for a specific community including Carry Me!, The Firehouse Cabaret (2004) and The Magical Monkey. Jenny runs the middle school drama program at Collegiate School.

STEVE PERIGARD (Adjunct Faculty) is an actor and director and has been an active part of the Richmond theatre community for the past 20 years. His recent directing credits include Psycho Beach Party (Theatre VCU), Fully Committed (Barksdale Theatre) and Steel Magnolias (Company of Fools). He is proud of his longtime association with Theatre IV and Barksdale Theatre and served the two companies as Associate Artistic Director for over 12 years and directed over 50 productions, including The Clean House, Noises Off, Peter Pan, Intimate Apparel, The Full Monty, Melissa Arctic, Sing Down the Moon, Cyrano de Bergerac, James Joyce’s The Dead, Proof and King Island Christmas. A member of Actors’ Equity Association, Steve’s performance credits include leading roles in productions of Into the Woods, The Constant Wife, Fifth of July and They’re Playing Our Song (Barksdale Theatre); You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown and Seussical (Theatre IV); A Devil Inside and Fit to be Tied (Theatre Gym); and Avow and Bat Boy: the Musical (Firehouse Theatre Project).

ERIN THOMAS-FOLEY (Programs Director/Resident Faculty) is one of Richmond's most notable acting talents. Erin is Actor's Equity Eligible and is a member of the Screen Actor's Guild. She holds a BFA from Longwood University and an MFA from Virginia Commonwealth University in Theater Pedagogy. Stage roles include Joan in The Lark, Roxanne in Cyrano De Bergerac, and Catherine in Proof at the Barksdale Theatre. Additional stage work includes Mr. Marmalade, Anton in Show Business, Where's My Money? (Firehouse Theatre), and To Kill A Mockingbird, Collected Stories, Little Foxes, A Christmas Carol, Peter Pan, The True Story of Pocahontas, and Patchwork (Theatre IV/Barksdale). Film roles include No Retreat from Destiny, Iron Jawed Angels, and Where the River Ends. Erin has performed in Romania with Blue Ridge Theatre Festivals International Festival of Theater in addition to touring Eastern Europe with a production of Taming of the Shrew.

DURRON TYRE (Adjunct Faculty) is a graduate of from the University of Richmond, where he received a BA in Theatre
Performance. His acting credits range from working with Theatre IV’s touring Children’s Theatre Company to acting in many shows with Swift Creek Mill Theatre (Joseph...Dreamcoat, Forever Plaid, Plaid Tidings, Once Upon A Mattress), Richmond Triangle Players (Zanna, Don’t!) and Firehouse Theatre (The Great American Trailer Park Musical).

LAINE SATTERFIELD (Acting, Dance) has performed in and created theatre in New York City, Scotland, Itlay, Denmark, Idaho and Virginia. Some favorite roles include: Ariel in The Tempest, Paulina in Death and the Maiden, Morgan Le Faye in Morgana, Elena in Uncle Vanya, multiple roles in the Public Theatre's production of Book of the Dead, and most recently, Lady MacBeth in MacBeth. She has taught at Stella Adler Conservatory in NYC, L'Universita dell'Aquila outside Rome, and various physical theatre workshops around the country. A graduate of Tisch School o fthe Arts (Stella Adler Conservatory), she also trained at Carnegie-Mellon University, University of Eurasian Theatre, University College of London, and with Eugenio Barba, Yoshi Oida, Rusty Wilson and many others. She is a member of Actor's Equity Association, and Linea Trasverssale, the international theatre network. Local credits include roles with Barksdsale Theatre & Firehouse Theatre.
