BravoAt BRAVO, there is never a dull moment! All students will begin rehearsing for a main stage show that has 3 performances scheduled at the end of the camp. Opening night will be Wednesday July 16th at 7:00pm. Mark your calendars!

In addition to rehearsing for the show, students will follow a rotation of various classes and workshops throughout the day. These workshops are taught by professional film and stage actors, local directors, casting agents, professional dancers with Broadway credentials, and visual artists in the community.

Topics covered in these workshops typically include:

BravoStage combat, stage makeup, auditioning for film, auditioning for stage, solo vocal coaching, special topics in dance, creative art projects and set design.

Other fun activities include theater games, physical and vocal warm ups, relay races, scavenger hunts, trivia contests, talent shows, photography for the weekly newsletter, good deed recognition, secret pal gifts and much, much more.

SPECIAL BONUS!

  • Each performer will receive a BRAVO! t-shirt for the camp which is often used as the main costume piece in the show.
  • Each year we bring in a professional photographer to do 8x10 headshots of your young performer that he/she can take home at the end of camp.
  • Students will have the chance to see the SPARC Summerstarz Touring show, Seussical, Jr.

BRAVO! is an exciting opportunity for students new to the stage as well as old hams! Every student is encouraged to explore his or her interest…whether it be singing, dancing, lead acting roles, writing or behind the scene work for those a little shy at first. We look forward to meeting you and seeing you at camp this summer!
