For Rising Fifth through Eighth graders
It's showtime at BRAVO! SPARC's full day middle school camp for performing arts offers fabulous arts training with some of Richmond's leading professional artists, several performance opportunities for each young actor, and fun daily activities that form friendships for life! In addition to rehearsing for the show, students will follow a rotation of various classes and workshops throughout the day. These workshops are taught by professional film and stage actors, local directors, casting agents, professional dancers with Broadway credentials, and visual artists in the community. Topics covered in these workshops typically include:
Other fun activities include theater games, physical and vocal warm ups, relay races, scavenger hunts, trivia contests, talent shows, photography for the weekly newsletter, good deed recognition, secret pal gifts and much, much more. SPECIAL BONUS!
BRAVO! is an exciting opportunity for students new to the stage as well as old hams! Every student is encouraged to explore his or her interest…whether it be singing, dancing, lead acting roles, writing or behind the scene work for those a little shy at first. BRAVO Ensemble:
Extended Hours Option for Summer 2008: Both Sessions - $200.00 You must pay for the entire session; you may not pay on a daily basis. Extended Day must be paid for in advance. Payment can be included with your registration payment (check or credit card). Please include in the memo section "Regular & Extended Day". One or two adults will be present on campus at all times with any Extended Day participants. Activities may include: Art projects We encourage students to bring a healthy snack, or they may go to one of the vending machines on site. It is also recommended the student bring their own book or activity they wish to focus on. |
