Ali Thibodeau has been an educator for SPARC since 2010 and most recently music directed Aristocats Jr. and choreographed The Drowsy Chaperone. She is currently choreographing Godspell at St. Gertrude’s. After studying dance at Old Dominion University, she furthered her training in NYC whilst pursuing a music career. Since then, she has shared her love for the performing arts as an educator for dozens of dance studios and schools all over the map. She has choreographed and/or performed for companies such as Universal Studios, Carnival Cruise Lines, VA Rep, Swiftcreek Mill Theatre, VA Musical Theatre, Company of Fools, Kings Dominion, VA Dance Festival, Webster Hall NYC, and Broadway Dance Center at Symphony Space. Favorite performance credits include: Spring Awakening (Wendla, RTCC nom.), Shrek (Fiona), Singin’ In The Rain (Kathy), South Pacific (Nellie), and Thoroughly Modern Millie (Miss Dorothy, RTCC award) Ali can be seen around town playing with her band Whatever Honey, singing with Trunk Show, or traveling around the world teaching and performing original music.
