Surveyor of the Spectacular
“AKA” Program Manager, STAGES
Phil recently earned his master’s degree in theatre pedagogy at VCU with an undergraduate degree from VCU in theatre performance. He is a local actor and was last featured in Sycamore Rouge’s production of Picasso at the Lapin Agile as Schmendiman. He was also in Henley Street’s productions of The Merchant of Venice and The Winter’s Tale. He has proudly directed over half a dozen shows and shorts during his time at Theatre VCU. Some of those credits include full productions of Sam Shepard’s Buried Child, Tony Kushner’s Angels in America: Millennium Approaches and his most cherished work, Samuel Beckett’s Endgame, performed in VCU’s Richard Newdick Theatre. He is very excited and proud to be a part of the SPARC team!
